Modern, New, Peaceful and Private

Lovely modern house in the city with a private forest vibe.
I’ve made the house to focus on relaxing and living comfortably.

The 1100 square feet that exclude the garage and basement has a master bedroom with queen bed, a large open concept for living room, kitchen and dining area, a washroom with shower and dual bathtub, a guest bedroom with a queen bed.

Almost anything you need is in a 10 minutes car drive radius. 20 minutes to Montréal center. One month minimum stay only. Can rent for the year.

The space
Everything you need is there, just bring your clothes!

This house was just finished building construction in 2019 so everything is brand new and bright due to it’s many windows. Every home appliance is brand new which include dishwasher, fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, and washer to name the biggest ones.

The master bedroom features abundant light with it’s three windows (with room darkening shades), two night stands and adjoining walk-in that also leads to the washroom.

The washroom is comprised of a 36×60 inches shower (easily fits two people) featuring a thermostatic shower column with massage jets and rainfall/water blade, the bath is a two person size bath, with toilet (slow closing lid) and a dual vanity and sink/faucet. There’s also floor heating for the entire washroom.

The guest bedroom features a queen sized bed with a closet and organization hanger.

The kitchen features a big island with a lot of counter space and a lot of storage space in the cupboards, all utensils, dishes, pots and pans are included to make almost any meal. There’s also a stainless steel double sink with adjustable faucet.

The living room has a tv with no cable service but you are free to plug your computer or google chrome into it since you can stream with wifi. The cable from videotron provider is already installed so if you would want the service it would only be a matter of ordering it. There’s couch for three people and and ottoman that spands the entirety of the couch.

The balcony is a huge 12×24 feet, complete with a bbq at your disposal which can be accessed by the kitchen or the backyard with the stairs.

The basement is incomplete meaning there are no walls or divisions but there is the washer, everything is connected and functioning.

The whole house features L.E.D. lights and most of them are dimmable. There’s a wall mounted heat pump for air conditioning and for heating but there’s also the traditional electric baseboard heaters located across the house. The first floor is all hardwood floor and tile, the basement is mostly carpet on cement. Hot water is always available with a big 60 gallons water heater tank.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house, only a small portion of the basement and under the patio is used for storage.

Other things to note
Water is from a well so there is a sulfur smell to it but it is pathogen free with laboratory analysis certification and UV light for the whole house. The water is not hard so it is better for the skin but it does feel soapy. You can drink the water, if you want to remove the sulfur, you just have to let the water sit for a few minutes for it to evaporate.

Also, the house has a septic tank meaning bleach or hard chemicals should not be poured into the sinks or toilet. When buying bleach for your clothes wash make sure they are septic tank compatible.
